MAIN DRIVE (continued)

Over-running/Slip Clutch

The clutch is designed to protect the machine

against damage from overloading.

It is factory set, and with the exception of replacing

friction discs, should require no further service.

IMPORTANT: Should the clutch slip during

operation, determine the cause and remove the

obstruction. See "Unplugging the Mower

Conditioner" in Operation section.

Telescoping Driveline

If telescoping driveline is removed, ensure when

replacing that bolt (B) is wired to yoke to prevent

bolt from backing out.
