Replacing the Cutter Blades

Follow t hese steps to replace the cutter blades:

DANGER

To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected

start-up or fall of raised machine: stop engine,

remove key, and engage safety props before going

under machine for any reason.

1. Raise header fully.

2. Shut off the engine and remove the key.

3. Engage header safety props.

4. Open cutterbar door(s). See Section 5.5 Cutterbar

Doors, page 31.

lines up with hole (

C) in rock guard.

6. Place a block of woo

d between two discs to prevent

disc rotation whil

e loosening blade bolts.

7. Clean debris from

blade attachment area.
